When setting up Outbreak our heart was to serve the community of Pimlico in the best way possible. The first thing we did was to find out from local families what the biggest need was in the area and then establish the best way to accomplish that need.
We discovered that child care over the holidays was desperately needed, so the team organised a holiday club, made up of skilled and willing volunteers, who were all DBS checked for safeguarding purposes.
At Outbreak, we are always looking to bring our professional youth work experience, expertise and energy to local schools in and around Pimlico in order to support school staff, young people and parents.
