About Us

Outbreak has been established as part of the Pimlico Foundation, a Christian charity which strives to create positive futures for young people living in Pimlico, central London.

Outbreak connects, empowers and brings hope to young people offering mentoring, schools work, detached youth work, holiday clubs and sports activities.

The name Outbreak was inspired by a text in the New Testament book of John 1:5 which says…

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

We recognise that our society has become more fragmented in recent years with many young people suffering as a result.  Our desire is to bring HOPE to our neighbourhoods and help our local area to grow in community with young people at the core.

Our aim is for young people to flourish on every level – physically, emotionally and spiritually – supporting families and the wider community.

Our target areas are through sport, mentoring, education, social interaction and faith, which will help the young people explore their talents, abilities and dreams. Our aim is to continue functioning in these four key areas in our community, to help young people attain their full potential, and be a benefit to their families and the wider community.
