Everyone is Welcome
Every Thursday after school we set up in the middle Churchill Gardens Estate & give away free hot chocolates! There are games for the children like volleyball & 4-square, giant Jenga & Connect 4. And of course, there are seats for the parents to relax & chat.
Why we do it
When we first started in November 2016 with a just a few cups, a hot water flask & some chcolate powder our aim was simply to get to know our community by making people smile. Now Hot Chocolate Thursdays are a big community get together where we see over 150 people each time. I guess we just make pretty awesome hot chocolates!
